ScoopDoods is committed to providing reliable, high-quality pet waste removal services while maintaining clear expectations and a seamless customer experience. By using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service.


1. Billing Policy

Recurring Service

Customers enrolled in recurring service authorize ScoopDoods to automatically charge the credit card on file on the 1st of each month for the upcoming month’s services.

Failed Payments

If a payment is unsuccessful:

  • Service will be paused immediately

  • Customers have 30 days to resolve the balance and resume service

  • After 30 days, the account will be removed from the service schedule

  • A one-time cleanup fee may apply to restart service due to accumulated waste

Collections

Accounts that remain unpaid after 30 days may be sent to collections.


2. Skipped Scoops & Access Issues

Your yard may be skipped if any of the following conditions apply:

  • Gates are locked, frozen, or inaccessible

  • Dogs are present in the yard and pose a safety concern

    • Friendly dogs are permitted

    • Aggressive dogs must be secured indoors during service

  • Weather or property conditions prevent safe service

When a yard is skipped, service will resume the following week with a double-duty cleanup.


3. Yard Conditions & Missed Waste

Challenging Yard Conditions

Tall grass, excessive leaves, debris, or poor visibility may make it difficult to locate all waste during a visit. While we do our best under all conditions, missed waste will be addressed during the next service once the yard has been maintained.

Reporting Missed Waste

If you notice missed waste, please notify us as soon as possible so we can address it promptly.


4. Holiday Service Interruptions

ScoopDoods observes select holidays and adjusts service schedules accordingly.

If your regular scoop day falls on a holiday, service will be shifted 1–2 days unless otherwise noted.

Observed holidays include:

  • Memorial Day

  • Fourth of July

Thanksgiving Week

We are closed on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday) and remain closed through the weekend. Services resume the following Monday.

Christmas & New Year’s

We are closed from Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day. All services resume the following week with double-duty cleanups.


5. Weather Policy

Safety is our top priority. While we service in most weather conditions, severe weather may require delays or skipped visits.

Weather Conditions That May Affect Service:

  1. Rain – Heavy rain that creates unsafe conditions or poor visibility

  2. Thunderstorms – Service is suspended during active thunderstorms

  3. High Winds – Flying debris, falling limbs, or unstable footing

  4. Extreme Temperatures – Severe heat or cold impacting technician safety

  5. Flooding – Inaccessible yards or roadways

  6. Snow Accumulation – Heavy snow burying waste or creating unsafe footing

  7. Icy Roads – Unsafe driving conditions

If possible, we wait in our vehicle for storms to pass and communicate delays as needed.


6. Missed Services Due to Weather

When service is postponed due to weather:

  • The visit will be skipped for that week

  • Service resumes the following week with accumulated waste addressed

Under our monthly subscription model, refunds are not provided for weather-related skips.

Customers needing an immediate cleanup before the next scheduled visit may contact us, though availability is not guaranteed.


7. SMS/Text Messaging Terms (A2P Compliance)

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS/text messages from ScoopDoods for operational and informational purposes, including:

  • Service reminders and confirmations

  • Schedule changes or delays

  • Billing and payment notifications

  • Customer support communications

  • Promotional messages (only if separately opted in)

  • Message frequency: Varies

  • Message & data rates may apply

  • Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase

Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
For help, reply HELP.

Your mobile number will not be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.


8. Limitation of Liability

ScoopDoods is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing lawn damage

  • Damage caused by pets

  • Missed waste due to yard conditions or obstructions

Our liability is limited to the cost of the affected service.


9. Changes to Terms

ScoopDoods reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
